How to clean Fish
Scrape the scales off the fish, and trim the wings using a sharp knife. Cut the tail and remove the internal organs and Clean the fish using water.
Take a bowl with water, add a pinch of salt to it and keep the fish in it for 5-7 minutes to remove the raw smell of fish and After cleaning, using the knife cut horizontal lines on the fish not so deeply.

Take a bowl or plate, and gather the ingredients chili powder, turmeric powder, lime juice, curry leaves, and salt. Mix all the ingredients with add little water to make a smooth paste.

Take a frying pan, pour oil, and heat it over a high flame Once the oil gets heated, put the fish in the oil and fry on medium flame.

Notes

One can use tamarind juice instead of lime juice.
Ginger Garlic paste can also be included in the marination paste.
After applying the marinade to the fish do not leave for much longer time for more than 2 hours as it can turn the fish soggy and the taste with differ considerably.
Semolina can be spread on the marinated fish while frying it to have a Rava Fish Fry.
